Premios Unidad is a Gala that celebrates and awards Latin artists and talents in the United States. It recognizes artistic excellence and musical contribution to the industry.
Highlighting relevant artists such as Elefante, Americo, Oro Solido, Luis Mateus, Justo Betancourt, Flex, Premios Unidad aims to work towards SDG Goal #10 of the United Nations making it a project of the Council of Global change for this 2024.
Premios Unidad is a space of recognition for Latin artists with 10 years of trajectory, we promote the Unity of talent where Latin artists from all over the world are recognized, celebrated and awarded. With a social focus, it seeks to reduce the inequality of opportunity in the Latino artist community that threatens long-term social and economic development. The Gala is held every year with great success and maximum participation and attendance from the Ecuadorian, Hispanic and Anglo-Saxon communities.
Scholarship
- Since its inception, Premios Unidad, aware of the lack of opportunities and spaces to support young artists, students and related who wish to venture into the beautiful art of music, considered it important to award this scholarship to Ecuadorian applicants who have demonstrated exceptional talent in music.
- One scholarship per year is awarded to Ecuadorian students or beginning artists residing in the state of New York who are interested in Latin music and need financial assistance and direction for their musical career. The importance of this scholarship has proven to generate a great impact in the beginnings of the beneficiaries in increasing their potential and stability in their career.
